Hanii Y silk tunic dress

Fr_3
There’s been rather a lot of dresses on here lately, but one more can hardly hurt. It seems that the big name designers have been going mad for ’70s influences this season, a perfect example being this Silk Tunic Dress from Hanii Y.

The print is clearly inspired by that old late 60s/early 70s folk look. The tunic shape is a great one for wearing over jeans or on its own in Summer.

With the rather hefty price tag of £370 you’re going to have to get your money’s worth, after all.

Cut-out T-bar heels from Schuh

1106497020m1While the Great British High Street is often a let down, I have something of a soft spot for a few of the mainstream shops where you can find a retro gem or two hidden amongst the high fashion.

Schuh is great for discovering retro footwear hidden away, whether it’s classic trainers or cute heels like these Tauro t-bars.

With a cut out design reminiscent of the coolest buckled shoes every kid seemed to own, and a decidedly more sophisticated stiletto heel, this stylish pair look well worth the £54.99 price tag.

Spring/Summer Pepe Coat from Oli

32k986olil

It’s one of the most difficult purchases of the year… how do you find a coat that will keep you warm when the clouds set in, but won’t make you sweat if the weather turns sunny?

Spring coats are hard to get right, but they can make a great investment if you find the right one. This Pepe Coat from Oli is a great example of a perfect balance between cover up and lightweight, and the great colour gives it a real stand out quality.

Retailing at £90, this double breasted jacket is by no means a bargain, but it might just be the investment that you swear by.
