Yes, these are wonderful. But best for all, these Floating House Shelves by Judson Beaumont for Straight Line Designs are also available to buy.

These first appeared last year, but a new selection is available for 2016, the ones you see here in fact. All are described as Butterfly house shelves (for obvious reasons) and all are inspired by midcentury modern architecture in Palm Springs.

They work as dolls houses (if you invest in some mini furniture) as well as shelves for bits and pieces like your phone or keys for example. Nothing too heavy obviously.

How much are they? We’re not sure as there are no prices attached to any. But you can email the maker via the site for pricing and any other enquiries you might have. You can also see past examples from the first series there too.
