A house lost in time – and this 1960s midcentury modern single-storey property in Ipswich, Suffolk is up for sale right now.

The house dates from 1965 and while it been looked after over the decades, it does need some work to bring it back to its best. But on the plus side, it oozes originality, packed with original features, including the doors, the windows, the exposed brick, the angled wood-clad ceilings and internal wood fittings for example. Some great furnishings too, but we're not sure they come as part of the deal.

Anyway, the house itself is in an elevated position, one of a few by the same architect in the area, offering up an entrance lobby, cloakroom, kitchen with built-in pantry, dining area with access to outside terrace, lounge area, with same access to outside space, a study (or bedroom three), inner lobby, two bedrooms and a bathroom with separate WC. Outside, you’ll find a large driveway, double garage plus front and rear gardens.

All of that for around £249,995. You can see more images at the WowHaus site or check out the agent's listing.
