As you probably know now, the price of an original 1960s Dansette is rising by the week. Just a check of the players on eBay will tell you that. It has resulted in some modern-day remakes, most recently the Crosley CR6234A Dansette Junior portable record player.
Yes, following on from the Sterling record player at Urban Outfitters, as well as the monochrome variation and the more recent GPO Bermuda another player that could be straight out of the 1960s.
This is a slightly smaller, more portable player (hence the Junior name), but one that plays vinyl at 33 and 45 on a belt-driven turntable, with audio via the full-range stereo speakers. There’s also a headphone jack, auxiliary output and input plus a power adapter.
Not an easy one to find in the UK, but Juno are selling it via its eBay store for £153.99 with free shipping.

Note that there is also currently a clearance of Crosley record players at Secret Sales, with a Dansette-style player amongst the selection. More on that here.
