If you don’t fancy pedal power but still want the two wheels, then this Pendleton Somerby electric bike might be an option.
It looks like a typical vintage-style city bike, which is pretty much what it is. The difference here is a built-in motor that promises to get you between 40 and 50 miles per charge. Although you will have to remember to recharge it for a commute as that takes five hours for a full charge. Maximum speed is around 15mph.
The bike also has a lightweight aluminium step-through frame, rigid steel forks, 8-speed gears and Tektro aluminium V-brakes, plus the option of pedalling if you feel energetic.
£750 is the price. Note that if you like the look but don’t want the electric power, you can get a standard version for around a third of the price.

This is the best ladies bike I’ve bought, great for shopping with a front basket, also I will add a rear carrier, its retro light weight, and I’ve had really good comments on its style.
