A popular design has been given a slight makeover. That’s the Nivala copper metal sunburst clock at Maisons Du Monde.
The sunburst clock is always popular and a design I have featured on many occasions from many places, both new and vintage. Check out the clocks at Absolute Black Granite and Marks and Spencer for a couple of alternatives. There is a good number out there, both old and new and as a rule, faithful to the classic 1950s style.
The ones mentioned above go for a wood finish as a result of that, but this one is all about the metal.
Think copper-coloured metal arms spray out from the circular/minimalist clock face in the centre, which contrasts black hands against the copper face. Good-looking and modern, but still a retro piece for your wall.
