Whether you are a fan of the show or just of the 1980s, you might just love these Nike x Stranger Things Classic Cortez trainers.
Of course, sportswear experts will know that the Cortez isn’t a shoe of 1985. It is a 1972 track shoe. But this is a take on the 1980s version to coincide with the year of the show – 1985.
The end result is a trainer is berry red leather, with the year of the show stamped into the white heel of each shoe in red. There’s also a white foam midsole with a red ‘go-faster stripe’ while the insole is stamped with tiny blue stars, flying the flag for the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. A women tab featuring both the show’s name and the Nike branding finishes things off.
