Of course, this wasn’t used in the Bond movies back in the day. It’s a fairly recent reissue nad as such, wasn’t around when Bond movies were at their peak. Well, at their peak for me. I suspect commercially the James Bond franchise has never been more profitable. But personally, I am very much here for the James Bond movies of the 1960s and early 1970s, which were a little more ‘comic book’ and fun compared to the more recent offerings.

And in those movies, there was likely a villain and a villain with a big swivel chair plotting world domination. The kind of chair you see here, courtesy of retailer West Elm.

Inspired by vintage Danish design, the angular chair you see here has a high back, rotating base and genuine presence with the winged sides and leather finish. The leather upholstery is in ‘saddle’ and the metal swivel base is in polished nickel.

If you want the stool too, you can pick that up as well. But before you get ahead of yourself, note that the chair itself is £879.
