English Red Telephone Box Print by Graphic Nothing

RedTelephoneBoxLarge-309x437
For this English Red Telephone Box Print, designer Graphic Nothing moves away from their previous obsessions with famous artwork, album covers and films.

It is apparently part of the “objet d'street furniture” series, although I haven’t seen any of the others. The traditional and now rarely seen telephone box is recreated in a simple graphic style. It is available in three sizes; A3 for £17.50, A2 for £26.50 or A1 for £36.50.

“Infinite Variety” Ketchup Print by Francis Long

Francis-long The Heinz ketchup bottle can be found in virtually very British kitchen – and now artist Francis Long has immortalised it in this "Infinite Variety" print.

This clever play on "57 Varieties" began life as a sculpture on the E17 Art Trail, an annual festival which sees Walthamstow artists and makers open their doors to exhibit their work. The three bottles contain the primary colours which are of course the basis for an infinite variety of colours.

The print is available from the E17 Art House as a limited edition, super-size screenprint costing £150.

Darkroom Stolen from De Stijl range

Darkroom
One of London's most stylish shops, Darkroom, have launched their first own collection. Stolen from De Stijl is as strongly influenced by the Dutch art movement as the name might suggest.

The range adopts the simple visual ideas advocated by the De Stijl movement, applying blocks and lines of primary colours, along with black and white only, across a range of products including scarves, bags, cushions and notebooks. The plate pictured is hand-painted and unglazed so for purely decorative purposes only if you want it to retain its sense of style.

Prices start at £22 while the plates cost £120 each.
