Betsey Johnson Octagon Lens sunglasses

4080_large

Among the annals of vintage fashion there are a few names which are responsible for shaping the face of the sixties. One of these is undeniably Betsey Johnson, part of the youthquake scene and mate of Andy Warhol.

The lady’s got style, and is thankfully still hitting catwalks with her signature designs. All of her collections are undeniably influenced by her ’60s roots, and they look stunning for it.

These Octagon Lens sunglasses are simply fantastic, retailing at $85. Check out Betsey’s recent catwalk show for her Beat Chick collection online too.

Nanette Lepore Bohemian bow coat

Nanet2002111252_prod_medium

Is there a better colour in women’s clothing than vintage cream? Perhaps it’s just me, but every time I see a rich cream colour on any item of clothing I fall for it.

Such was the case when I clapped eyes on this Nanette Lepore Bohemian Bow coat. This designer number has a little something sixties, with a modern twist thrown in for good measure. A great coat for the months entering Spring, I particularly love the oversized buttons and the extremely flattering cut and length.

As with all designer, this will cost you a pretty penny at $540 from Shopbop.

Now defunct – but you can show off your musical knowledge by wearing the t-shirt, available in three colourways as well as male/female sizes and available to pre-order now. It sells for $22.45 (around £12), with shipping from 31st March.
