Limited to just 1,000 worldwide, this Lomography LCA+ 20th anniversary camera is likely to be a sought after item for analogue photography fans.
There have been a few dissenting voices about the authenticity of this design, but according to Fred Perry, this is a remake of the original 1952 Fred Perry polo shirt.
If you love classic ITC shows, then 10th September 2011 is a date worth noting, as that's the date for The Persuaders 40th anniversary.
Sadly, Tony Curtis is no longer around, but Sir Roger Moore will host the event at Kent House, Knightsbridge. Get there at 6pm for a food and drink reception, followed by an HD screening of two episodes (the event is also promoting the HD reissue of the series), then a Q&A and signing session with Sir Rog. That costs £40. Play the top-end £80 and you get an advance copy of the Blu-ray set, plus the opportunity to schmooze with Sir Rog and get your Blu-ray signed. The original Aston Martin from the series will also be on hand, should that float your boat.
Just got an email off Rhino about the Monkees going out on tour, also mentioning the merchandise on offer for said tour. Amongst all the t-shirts, there's this gem – The Monkees 45th anniversary tour screenprint.
It's a rather cool, vintage-style print made for the tour, a two-colour prong on 'thick cardstock'. Shame it only features the touring members (sorry Nesmith fans), but it's still an eye-catching item.
Grab it online at the Rhino site, $20 secures one.
Something for The Beatles fans out there, although you'll need to be an affluent fan of the Fab Four to collections all of these Acme The Beatles Collection Pen and Card Case sets, which celebrate 50 years since the band was formed.
Each set limited to 600 worldwide and each design is based around an original Beatles album, so the one above is, as you've probably guessed, A Hard Day's Night. Also released in the first batch is Please Please Me and With The Beatles, with other albums following over the next couple of years.
In the set, you get an enamel rollerball pen and business card case with the album design featured, as well as a presentation box which replicates the album cover and is individually numbered. Available for pre-order now, £119.99 is the price. See over the page for the packaging.
To celebrate Ercol's 90th anniversary, some of the company's more interesting designs have been made over and reissued, including the Ercol Studio Couch range.
The range was designed by the company’s founder, Lucian Ercolani, and was originally launched in the late 1950s, still keeping that 'look' with the reissue. Both models have the classic bent arms and construction from elm and beech, with the option of going with or without back cushions. There's also the option of different fabrics for the upholstery too.
Two designs in one too, with the ability to use as a sofa or occasional bed. £1,685 is the starting price, varying depending on your choice of finish.
