I trawl eBay most days, but I have to say, this Rosita Stereo Commander Luxus hi-fi system is one of the best audio systems I've ever seen on the site.
Made in (West) Germany by Rosita in the 1970s, it mixes period style with audio know-how. Sat on that chromed 'tulip' base is a wood unit, grey transparent cover and integrated speakers, as well as the audio functionality. That includes a Philips record player, a cassette player by the same company and a front-facing radio with slide controls. It even comes with all the relevant instruction manuals.
Hopefully the photo does it justice. if not, check out a close-up over the page or the numerous images on the listing. It's described as 'working' and 'original unrestored condition', as well as 'very-well tended'. Which probably explains the price. The seller is looking for £1,699 – or you can make an offer.
