Trellick Tower silkscreen print by Jo Peel

Trellick

The speciality of Jo Peel is capturing the everyday world and giving it her own distinctive spin, shown perfectly by this Trellick Tower silkscreen print.

Erno Goldfinger's brutalist masterpiece (or eyesore, depending on your view) is given something of a comic book twist by the artist, making it her own, but at the same time, keeping the unmistakable profile of the tower block.

The print is sized at 66 x 48cm and is only available as a run of 25 in the red here. If you want one, it sells for £65.

David Weidman at Urban Outfitters

Weidman

A while ago, we showed you some of David Weidman 1970s prints. If you liked the style of those but the price was slightly out of your reach, you'll be interested in knowing his work has been used as part of a small collection for American Urban Outfitters

Weidman is best known for his work in the late 1950s and 60s from which this collection is drawn. It currently includes two pieces of wall art and a cushion, each featuring a distinctively Weidman style artwork. Pictured is the Bird Tree wall art, screen-printed onto canvas. The other designs are avian themed too: a bird is reproduced on the cushion, while the other piece of wall art features a caged owl.

Sadly the items can't be shipped internationally but, if you happen to be in the US, this piece will set you back $48.

eBay watch: Signed Alan Aldridge Chelsea Girls poster

Aldridge

Yes, it's more than a bit pricey, but this signed Alan Aldridge Chelsea Girls poster is an iconic image and one you'll rarely find on eBay.

Chelsea Girls was a 1966 experimental underground film directed by Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey, following the lives of young women at the Hotel Chelsea. It was also the inspiration for Nico's 1967 debut album, Chelsea Girl.

Yet most of that seems forgotten while the poster is still one of the most memorable images of the era. This particular poster was apparently hand-signed by Aldridge in 1970 and according to the seller, has a gallery guide price of £5,000. He is asking £4,500, which seems a bit rich for an eBay sale, but he will take an offer. You can always chance your arm.

Fisherman’s Fiend limited edition screenprint by Flood The Valley

Fiend

Fisherman's Friend lozenges have been around since 1865, with the longstanding imagery on the packets being every bit as iconic as the menthol within the packet. But Brighton-based graffiti artists Flood The Valley have added their own twist on the classic with this Fisherman's Fiend screenprint.

Yes, not just a slight change in name and description, the fisherman on this print is battling with a giant octopus – both of which you might miss unless you look carefully. The print is one of a limited run of just 66, all silkscreens and signed by the artist.

Sized at 70 x 50cm, you can grab one at Art Republic, priced at £54.
